8.2.8 Employment practice appeal process(2024)
MCUT’s grievance channels for faculty and staff are unobstructed. MCUT has also formulated the “Directions for Establishment of Labor-Management Meeting under Labor Standards Act,” and established the “Faculty Grievance Review Committee” and “Staff Grievance Review Committee.” For faculty, a written grievance is filed to the Office of the Secretariat/Secretary; for staff, a written grievance is filed with the Personnel Office. Once a grievance is received, a meeting will be convened to review the grievances filed in accordance with the provisions formulated by the Review Committee for faculty and staff, respectively. Grievance procedures and the list of members are available on the web pages of the Office of the Secretariat/Secretary and the Personnel Office.
