17.4.1 Education for SDGs: commitment to meaningful education(2024)
From 2021, MCUT has integrated and included the SDGs into the university-wide curriculum via the system, and teachers set the SDGs at the same time when completing the course teaching schedule. In 2024, MCUT inventoried 2,134 courses. Among them, 1,920 courses have corresponded to the SDGs, accounting for 90% of the total. Each student shall attend multiple SDG courses at least prior to their graduation. Meanwhile, MCUT offered year-round mandatory internship courses for all juniors and the internship experience was fed back into their curriculum in the senior year, achieving “SDG 4 Quality education” and “SDG 8 Decent work and economic growth.”
