Through education, MCUT practices the SDGs by(1) working with NGOs in Sanxia, and student volunteers, action research and co-creation of teaching materials to promote indigo dyeing arts  and explore history of Sanxia Old Street; (2) working with ecology-related NGOs to organize local environmental sustainability forums, focus on riverbank waste and land management, research action plans and propose solutions to local governments; (3) working with labor-related NGOs to edit the "Migrant Worker Prisoner News,” with students participating in multilingual translation, edition and calibration, and providing it to migrant worker prisoners; (4) working with local NGOs, and through student volunteers, action research and co-creation of teaching materials, the General Education Center establishes the long-term partnership with local arts and cultural groups and artists in Taishan to deepen the sprouting of the community arts and cultures and also sustainable actions.
