12.2.7 Disposable policy: extensions to services(2024)
MCUT has implemented the ISO 14001 management system and formulated the “Environmental Protection and Safety and Health Policy” to monitor environmental impacts and promote the sustainable development policy. All outsourcing contractors of MCUT are approved by the competent authorities, ensuring that the process of waste (including food waste) disposal meets the requirements of the “Waste Disposal Act” and MCUT’s environmental protection policy. After being awarded a contract, the contractor is required to sign the Construction Work Safety Notification and record the environmental and potential hazards of the construction site and the safety and health measures that should be adopted to ensure that the contractor fully understands and follows the relevant specifications. Before construction, the contractor must complete safety and health education in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act to ensure that the operations meet the requirements.
