MCUT handles the urban/rural planning and development projects, including (1) reshaping cultural value of Sanxia Old Street and exploring establishment of cultural cooperatives and promotion of neighborliness to promote the dialogue and co-existence of culture and economy; (2) promoting the  industrial clusters’ sustainable development in New Taipei City, analyzing challenges suffered by enterprises and proposing solutions, and holding 8 SDGs industry forums; (3) collecting local residents’ questions about the four sites, Taishan, Xinzhuang, Wugu and Linkou, based on the social design courses and community empowerment courses; (4) working with the community to solve local transportation problems, providing the paid temporary parking spaces for residents nearby, and establishing a corporate education and training center for visitors, researchers and short-term lodgers; (5) organizing the New Taipei City Job Fair each year to provide graduates and the public with a job-seeking platform.
