3.3.4 Sexual and reproductive health care services for students(2024)

In 2024, MCUT organized four free seminars on AIDS prevention and 391 gender equality-related courses for all students, faculty, and staff to strengthen their understanding of sexual health and safe sex. MCUT is committed to promoting the awareness and tolerance of gender diversity. Meanwhile, in order to prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs), the countermeasures include (1) provision of free condoms; (2) anonymous HIV tests to prevent STIs, totaling 447 people; and (3) if treatment is needed, the contracts signed by MCUT, Chang Gung and 23 local hospitals and clinics offer preferential medical treatment.
