3.3.1 Current collaborations with health institutions(2024)
In order to enhance health and well-being, MCUT cooperates with healthcare institutions in the following manners: (1) execution of the letter of intent with the aged care institution in Japan to exchange with you on aged care and application of assistive devices; (2) participation in the “Medical Japan Tokyo” to exhibit the medical devices and smart health technology of MCUT as the platform for connecting and matching the Japanese medical and long-term care industry; (3) execution of the contract with Chang Gung – a national hospital, to provide 20–40% medical care discounts for the faculty with a 15% discount for students; (4) establishment of the health center and nurses on campus, and execution of the contract with about 23 local hospitals and clinics in 2024 to provide preferential medical treatment; (5) cooperation with the local health and culture village to promote the practice-based learning integrating medical treatment and technology.
