MCUT centers its work on SDG 6 by building water-resource governance and education. We established a Water Environment Patrol Team to conduct watershed patrols and water-quality monitoring, expanding indicators to COD and total phosphorus; promoted rapid screening of riverine waste in the Tamsui River and public–private collaboration to reduce pollutant loads; planned rainwater harvesting for irrigation; installed wastewater treatment facilities with periodic third-party testing and public disclosure of compliant results; integrated courses and community engagement to advance local environmental education and field exploration; published hotspot data to improve cleanup efficiency; and strengthened campus water supply upgrades and pipeline-replacement resilience.
