17.3.2 Publication of SDG report: SDG2(2024)

MCUT actively advances SDG 2: Zero Hunger. Centered on the “Campus Sustainable Agri-Food Education Promotion Program,” it adopts EM-based, animal-friendly poultry practices to improve laying-hen health and enhance egg quality and yield. In parallel, MCUT implements a circular agri-food model that converts lunch leftovers into compost to raise black soldier fly larvae, which are then used as feed for the hens—forming a “food-waste valorization × increased food production” loop that integrates educational demonstration with hands-on outcomes.
