17.2.4 Collaboration for SDG best practice(2024)

Through the THE ranking systems, MCUT seeks partners with advantages in academic research and SDGs by (1) joining the T5GIP Global Industry Platform and forming alliances with NTU, NTUST, NTNU and CGU (THE WUR 140~800) to integrate resources forscientific research translation, link enterprises and strengthen international cooperation; (2) working with KAIST (THE WUR 70) and Formosa Smart Energy to accelerate lithium batteries and electric commercial vehicle production lines, engage in the trial production of solid-state batteries, focus on new batteries, EVs and power supply management, and create a new green energy horizon; (3) working with UNITEN in Malaysia and SIT and UIA in Japan to hold a three-day workshop in Japan, with the 5 teams formed by 4 schools to create the SDG5 picture books and 5 English storytelling activities; (4) adding 37 international sister schools and promoting students’ overseas seminars to guide innovative thinking based on the SDG issues.
