MCUT centers on SDG 15 and advances terrestrial biodiversity through a “governance–action–education & disclosure” approach: mainstreaming biodiversity into university governance and land-use planning; applying the LEAP framework to map nature-related risks; establishing species inventories and habitat monitoring; promoting green connectivity and wildlife-friendly management; integrating coursework and citizen science; and publishing data while strengthening partnerships to slow biodiversity loss.
