11.2.6 Record and preserve cultural heritage(2024)
MCUT combines the local government’s and NGOs’ record and digitizes valuable cultural assets, including the nation-wide activities: (1) production of picture books for Southeast Asian countries’ stories to support the new immigrants and their second generation to transfer their memories and culture; (2) drumming art show-Taishan Drumming Art Competition to transfer Taiwan's folk traditional arts; (3) transfer and promotion of the indigenous culture, on-site visit to the Paiwan tribe, special exhibitions for cultural relics and drama shows; the tribal language classes organized by the Indigenous Students Resource Center to help students pass the tribal language proficiency certification, and the regional activities: (4) promotion of local religious events and invitation of local performing art groups to participate in 270th anniversary; (5) promotion of the plant dyeing arts, cooperation with NGOs in Sanxia District to record the industrial development history and characteristics.
