7.4.3 Energy efficiency services for industry(2024)
In 2024, MCUT (1) organized the free “International Conference on Smart Devices and Sustainable Energy” and the “ International Forum in Plasma and Thin Film Technologies for Sustainable Development Goals” inviting 26 world-renowned speakers from more than 10 countries to deliver speeches to local suppliers, attended by a total of more than 645 people, with 364 papers published; (2) completed the carbon inventory payment services for 8 companies, executed 30 cooperation projects and 4 technology transfer cases, obtained 12 energy-related patents, and presented 146 energy research papers internationally; (3) added the “Net Zero Planner” competency assessment in response to the government’s promotion of iPAS skills certification, and had the relevant departments establish the guidance mechanism to encourage teachers, students and the public to participate in the assessment; 118 students from MCUT attended the assessment and 20 of them received the certification.
