SDG 5: Gender Equality(2024)

MCUT advances SDG 5 through policy, protection, participation, and support: implementing gender-equality/anti-harassment measures; disclosing gender pay-gap and workforce data; and providing confidential, time-bound grievance channels. We strengthen women’s leadership and representation, offer parental leave, return-to-work, flexible/remote options, and childcare; expand women’s participation in STEM and embed gender awareness in curricula. In addition, the “Gender-Equality English Storytelling” project co-creates picture books with partners in Japan and Malaysia and, in collaboration with libraries, brings SDG 5 concepts to multinational children through stories.
