4.Internationalization

1.  Grants and subsidies are paid to local students for international internships, exchanges and further studies

     Since 2006, overseas internships (in the United States, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Switzerland, etc.) have been provided, with 608 students participating in different overseas internships.

     Since 2018, MCUT has implemented the Ministry of Education’s Overseas Dream Study Program and Learning Sea Flying Program, having subsidized 77 MCUT students for overseas exchanges.

     Since 2018, dual master’s degree has been promoted, with 22 students having been to our sister universities (University of Cincinnati and Northern Illinois University in the United States, Pompeu Fabra University in Spain) for further studies, and 17 of them having obtained master’s degrees.

2.  Scholarships for outstanding overseas graduate students to study at MCUT

     Since 2016, 58 foreign doctoral students and 235 master students have enrolled.

     MCUT has cooperated with the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology to promote a doctoral program for foreign students, having recruited 8 doctoral students and co-advising 26 doctoral students.
