1.  University Social Responsibility (USR) Projects

     In 2023, MCUT applied for the Project of Sustainable Development 2.0 for Industry in New Taipei City, the Action Plan for the Northern Taiwan Gallery-Strip of Premier Studies, as well as the USR Co-op Design — Sanjiaoyong Community Cultural Life Experimental Project, promoting three USR projects.

     MCUT included the local field to promote industrial energy-efficiency enhancement, local cultural sustainability, environmental monitoring and education, concerns for new residents and international migrant workers, as well as urban renewal and youth participation in community, developing five issue-oriented base-type USR projects.

     We cooperate with local government departments, schools, civic organizations, communities, and enthusiastic enterprises to develop six USR incubation programs.

2.  Inventory of SDGs-Related Courses

     78% of the courses offered in 2022 were SDGs-related.  The courses having the greatest relevance include those relating to SDG4’s quality education (33%), SDG9’s industrialization innovation and infrastructure (30%) and SDG8’s decent work and economic growth (23%).

     88% of the courses offered by the General Education Center are SDGs-related.  The courses having the greatest relevance include those relating to SDG4’s quality education (55%), SDG3’s good health and well-being (23%), and SDG5’s gender equality (17%).
